The idea that everyone is broken can be upsetting for some people.

We want to be whole. We want to be perfect - or at least Good Enough.

But we all fall short.

And while it can seem like a condemnation, I see it as freeing. I’ll never be perfect, but that’s ok! God loves me anyway.

The parts of the world I can’t fix - I don’t have to freak out, God is at work on those things too.

I may not be perfect, but I am worthy of love. That knowledge frees me up to try and do what I can do in this life.

Do you wish you were perfect? Is there any freedom in knowing that nobody is?
