“The whole message about this life.” Wow, I love that phrase. Jesus is the whole message about this life, our life, the life of the world. So amazing and powerful and miraculous is this message that angels break open prison doors to loose it into the world. It literally cannot be stopped. But it is us that God calls upon to share this message, and I would say, to be this message. Our lives bear witness to Jesus’ love and presence when we live out our faith in service to God and neighbor. And that message is about wholeness. God’s love in Christ Jesus is all-encompassing and as Christians we are called to live into this love.
Gracious God, thank you for giving me the whole message about this life, and for the grace and strength to bear witness to it in my daily living. Amen.
