Paul has an interesting view on women and marriage. I’m not a huge fan - and even though I understand what he means, this text is still focused on how just the women is bound by the law. Thus was the patriarchy. Sigh.

However, what I notice is that freedom from the law comes in death.

Freedom in Christ came through death.

What a weird message to those of us who spend our lives fearing and trying to prevent death.

Has death ever been a gift in your own life? How?
