God’s time is not my time. Ohh how that makes me mad! I mean, come on. God is all-powerful, right? Can’t God just wave that magic wand that fix everything to exactly the way I want it right now?!?
Such humility the psalmist has to turn it over to God and simply say, “I know you’re God. You’ve got this. You love me so incredibly much. When it makes the most sense, I know you’ll answer my prayer.” I love it. I think I need to add this verse to the end of every prayer I pray.
Ever-present God, you know my needs better than I do. Give me patience and trust in your goodness. Amen.
