What cultural connections do people make to wisdom? The owl is one—I have no idea why, but I’m sure I could google it and find the information in less than a minute. Age? Certainly yes, but I think that nowadays this one perhaps is failing.

One’s parents? Yes, indeed. That is, until you yourself became a parent and you realize that your folks were doing just as best they could at the time (or maybe not so good, too.)

The wisdom of the ages and that of the Bible changes every generation, too. Before I go too deeply in this argument though, consider what sort of wisdom continues to last, no matter what.

It’s that of God. Period. The Bible ain’t part of the Trinity. Just God.
