I’ve always had the deepest respect for nurses. What other job do you know of where you’re required to clean up puke, check an IV line, then smile at the person in the hospital room who has been yelling at you, because of illness-related dementia?!
I believe that Jesus’ healings were much less a witness to God’s “magical” powers, but that God wanted to show others that God was caring, loving, patient, and kind.
How else can a relationship be as we have it with our God?
Thank you, God, for your healing touch. Grace your presence in my home this week. Amen.
