The message in this story is a hard truth.

Misunderstanding caused the people to ask for Christ to be crucified.

The people didn’t understand what the prophets’ messages were saying. When the son of God showed up, they were too confused or afraid to accept Jesus as who he said he was, and it lead to death.

A lot of folks have used this as a reason to continue to condemn those who don’t understand.

Perahsp teh real message is to never condemn. To alwasy assume the best of intentions. To lead with love and curiosity rather than the assured belief that only YOU are right.

When has fear caused you to make a bad decision?
