The one saving grace, I believe, with today’s reading is that Jesus drops the zinger to all of those in power who had just heard Jesus proclaim his woes to them!
The wisdom of God is found in the cries and smiles of little babies. It makes me happy to know that those who think they are powerful and neglect or hurt others will not be the ones who ultimately prevail.
God works in little ways, to bring about big things.
