A woman bleeding for 12 years touched Jesus, and "immediately her hemorrhage stopped." Of course it did. What the woman needed most in the world was the healing of her bleeding. Not just because of the medical challenges she faced by it, but also because it isolated her from any human touch and social interaction. She was utterly devastated by her condition. She touched Jesus, and her life was changed.

That's how it works with Jesus. When we touch Jesus, we are utterly changed. What the woman needed might not be what we need. She needed to be healed to restore her physically, socially, and spiritually. What we need might be vastly different. We might need healing. We might need social interaction. We might need our eyes opened. We might need to be shaken to the core. We might not even know what we need. But Jesus does. When we touch Jesus – even just to touch them hem of his cloak - we will be changed.

Now there was a woman who had been suffering from hemorrhages for twelve years; and though she had spent all she had on physicians, no one could cure her. She came up behind him and touched the fringe of his clothes, and immediately her hemorrhage stopped.
