The Faith of a Breadcrumb is a humorous retelling of the Feeding of 5,000, emphasizing trust in God’s miraculous power. Jesus is telling the Parable of the Sower, but he is interrupted by the hungry crowd, and so he dispatches his disciples to get food for them. From five loaves of bread and two fish, 5,000 people are fed—with plenty of leftovers. Jesus resumes his parable, teaching the now full and happy assembly of folks.
